One of my favorite pictures ever of the Marvel offices in 1992. A minor “Night at the Opera stateroom scene” featuring a pony-tailed Executive Editor Mark Gruenwald, then-Assistant Editor David Wohl, Tom’s Executive Secretary Mary “Mac” McPherran and Editor In Chief Tom DeFalco. This was during the roughly 2-month period that Marvel Comics Editorial was moved, lock, stock and comic book down to the 4th Floor of 387 Park. The 10th Floor offices were being completely remodeled for about that long. The “corner office” was one of the nicer offices ever for a Marvel editorial team—mostly because the office that was to come, up on 10, was in the same corner-window position but not as large. Formerly, that spot had been taken by the Publisher (Michael Z. Hobson) and the room ended at the third window on the left.
