Now, it has been said that I can draw things… but people… ehhhh… That’s my chum (and still dear friend) Jack Morelli, in top mid-panel 3, caught in the gesture of him shoving his gigantic 70s-stile glasses up his nose. Yes, this depicts a time, so-o-o long ago, I still had vestiges of hair. Jack was always up for helping his old pal get his teeth through a cookie!
Of historical note is that there were always many construction workers across the street on the high steel of the new IBM Building on Madison and 57 St. That’s pitch man Jack at the end, informing us all that the cookie is still as good as new!
