“Modern blowguns aren’t much different from theirs except that the materials are tougher and they break down into something you can carry. They’re also more powerful than any CO2 gun. Out of morbid curiosity, I set up my 15-layer Kevlar vest, which can stop a .44 bullet. If I hadn’t included the shock-absorbing trauma plate, the vest would’ve been pinned to my dart board.”
